Alicia Henson is a 7-year veteran with the Cincinnati Police Department and a 22- year veteran in public safety. She has extensive experience serving in leadership roles as EMS Coordinator with the City of Mountain View Fire Department, UC Physicians and Butler Technology, Alicia has previously served as Race Director for the Inaugural Cops for A Cure 5K, and as former Regatta Director with Cincinnati Rowing Club. “As a cancer thriver, being able to support my brothers and sisters battling this deadly disease is a gift. Being able to share my story to help raise awareness, and raise money for our officers, is a small way I can give back. No one fights alone.”

Elizabeth Bangel is a seasoned senior living and healthcare sales leader with over 20 years of experience driving community growth, developing successful outreach programs, and leading high-performing teams. As Senior Community Relations Director for Senior Lifestyle since 2014, she’s delivered standout results, including taking a 343-unit property to 100% occupancy with a two-year waitlist in just 24 months. Known for her strategic vision and passion for service, Elizabeth has built lasting partnerships, created impactful events, and spearheaded initiatives that boost revenue and resident retention. Beyond her professional achievements, she’s deeply involved in community advocacy, serving on multiple nonprofit boards and leading fundraising efforts for organizations supporting seniors and healthcare professionals.

Tiphanie Galvez
Tiphanie Galvez has been a professional employee of the Cincinnati Police Department since March, 2000. She worked in Emergency Communications for nearly 15 years before transferring to an HR Manager role within the department. While this assignment, Tiphanie worked with Department Leadership to create the Cincinnati Police Wellness Program. Initially intended to support mental health initiatives for first responders exposed to trauma, the program was the first of its kind in the region and established a model for breaking down mental health stigma in public safety agencies. In 2022, Tiphanie transferred to become the Cincinnati Police Department’s first Wellness Coordinator. Today the program encompasses comprehensive awareness and support focusing on mental, physical, spiritual, financial, social, and professional wellness for all CPD employees. Tiphanie holds a Master’s in Public Administration, Bachelor’s in Biology, and is certified in Human Resources and Emergency Management. In her free time she enjoys a good hike with her dog, repurposing vintage furniture, and shamelessly binging every teen angst series available.
Ken Kober is a 25 year veteran of the Cincinnati Police Deportment. He has served as an executive board member for the Fraternal order of Police in Cincinnati for the past 15 years and is currently the President. Ken has extensive experience serving in leadership roles for organizations such as the VFW Auxiliary in Harrison, Ohio and the Blue line Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ken Looks forward to bringing his leadership skills to Cops for a Cure. "Raising money for officers who are battling cancer and bringing public awareness is very important to me. After having seen close friends and family battle such a nasty disease I couldn't help but jump in with both feet to help grow such an important organization."

Angela Kloepfer
Angela Kloepfer has worked for the Cincinnati Police Department for 15 years. She is currently the Intern Coordinator, where she has the privilege of helping to mentor and guide aspiring professionals through immersive internship experiences. Additionally, she has 13 years of experience as a Police Dispatcher and trainer in both city and county agencies. She has experience as a member of the Chief’s Internal Advisory Board, providing insights and recommendations to the Cincinnati Police Department Leadership team to shape policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the department.
Angela is a passionate advocate for cancer awareness and support. She has a deep personal connection to the cause as she has family members who both survived and lost their battle with cancer. Having witnessed the challenges of a loved one facing their illness, she understands the emotional, physical, and financial toll that the disease takes on families. Angela has become an active voice in fundraising, cancer research, and mental health. She works with organizations such as Cops for A Cure to help provide resources, educate the public, and inspire hope.
Jennifer Lane is a 17-year veteran of the Cincinnati Police Department and has been a member of the Executive Board for FOP Queen City Lodge #69 for seven years. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Jennifer brings both personal experience and deep empathy to the organization’s mission.
Throughout her journey, Jennifer witnessed firsthand the importance of strong support systems during treatment and recovery. Her passion for ensuring that every officer facing cancer receives the same compassion and encouragement she did drives her commitment to Cops Caring for Cops.
